Colour accuracy
With 10-bit colour screens, ColorEdge displays can show over a billion colours simultaneously. As well as 99% of Adobe RGB, they reproduce 100% Rec. 7090, EBU and SMPTE-C standards. You can set the screen to show up to the monitor’s full 10-bit greyscale range for fine editing work.
The CS Series show a typical contrast ratio of 1000:1.
EIZO’s patented DUE technology ensures that brightness and chromaticity are consistent right to the edge of the screen. The IPS panels reduce glare, and present a viewable angle of 178 degrees – particularly useful for sharing work with clients.
Added details such as backlit buttons, colour presets and a safe area marker make these tools easy and enjoyable to use.
Consistency and reliability are central to the EIZO offering. They make their products in their own factories and individually adjusts the RGB colour characteristics of each monitor. A five-year warranty on all components comes as standard, as well as a brightness and colour warranty for the first 10,000 hours.
Calibration
Colour calibration is vital to retain the accuracy of your colour workflow. EIZO monitors make this easy. ColorEdge monitors come with colour calibration software that can also be used to manage all monitors in a network centrally, saving potentially hundreds of hours for an administrator.
CS230, CS2420, CS270
The CS230 is the smallest of the ColorEdge monitors, at 23”. It doesn’t share the wide gamut LED backlight of the other screens, but still shows the 1.07 billion colours of the others.
The CS2420 and the CS270 are 24.1” and 27” respectively, with wide-gamut LED backlight screens, 99% of Adobe RGB and full 10-bit colour.
