Featuring a new boolean operation system, artists can now combine models compromising millions of polygons, generating real-time previews on the fly.
“With a host of new functionality it's great to see continued development from Pixologic,” said Graeme Pitt, head of software at Escape Technology. “We can’t wait to see how VFX artists put these tools to use.”
The new release also sees the addition of three plugins; ZBrush to Photoshop CC enables users to send renders for compositing, Scale Master provides unified scaling using real-world measurements, and models can now be sent to Sculpteo with ease.
As the VFX industry sees increasing demand for more realistic effects, ZBrush 4R8 promises to aid digital sculptors to better create people, creatures, monsters, and more.
