This bank holiday weekend a team from Escape Technology took part in the Twin Town Challenge - an event to support SpecialEffect and the amazing work they do to enhance the lives of disabled people by helping them play video games.
Arriving at Blenheim Palace on a miserable, wet Friday morning we met hundreds of participants. Each team was dressed up to match their cars - from Scooby-Doo to sumo wrestlers - it was quite a sight and spirits weren’t dampened by the weather at all.
The weekend was packed with challenges - too many to pen - and much fun was had by all. Driving our £500 cars around the racetrack was a sight and I’m sure some of us thought it was F1 standard!
We’d like to thank the organisers, the teams, and most of all those who sponsored us. We’ve made some great new friends along the way and had a truly memorable time for a cause we shall continue to be part of.
