Last week we sent some of the Escape Technology team over to IBC 2013 to exhibit for the first time, and we are pleased to be able to say it was a huge success!
After the intro from our main man, there was 3 key presentations from Softimage users who helped to embed the continued importance and relevance of Softimage.
Paul Charisse & Alex Council from Portsmouth University gave us a behind the scenes tour of Stina & The Wolf; an animated feature film that used performance captured live actors.
Following that the team from Jellyfish Pictures, Sam Howell, Dave Cook & Jeremy Smith gave us a preview of some of their latest work & an in-depth insight into on-set supervision.
And finally Michael Haas showed us the techniques behind creating a coop full of chickens and also gave us a sneak peek of his recent short film “The Sunshine Egg”.
If you weren’t able to join us for SiC this time be sure to head over to the website & keep an eye on the next UGM date! And if you were there we took a couple of photos, take a look and see if you can see yourself & all of the photos will be posted on our Facebook page shortly.
