Following their recent merger both companies have taken steps to integrate mocha’s tracking and masking technology into BBC plug-ins and have BCC effects integrated inside mocha Pro. By combining the development teams and sharing these technologies they are introducing new workflows which will benefit anyone working in VFX or image manipulation.
To show off the fruits of their labour Boris FX / Imagineer Systems will have a selection of guest speakers at their stand demonstrating how they work with these tools and introduce you to new features.

Christopher, an independent VFX artist and software developer, will premiere his new utility, MochaBlend for C4D, which provides a unique solution to get mocha’s 2D planar tracking data, 3D camera solves and roto data into Maxon Cinema 4D.
Jason Hearne, Game Show Network: Thurs, 13 Aug at 2pm
Jason, a senior designer/animator for On-Air promotions at The Game Show Network (GSN), will show how his team recently used mocha Pro and the After Effects puppet tool to track and animate the popular reality, body paint competition series, Skin Wars.
Nick Lambert, Boundary VFX: Thurs, 13 Aug at 11am
Nick, a VFX artist and founding partner of Boundary VFX, and his remote partners are spread across the globe and specialise in rotoscoping, keying, wire and rig removal, paint and scene reconstruction. Nick will show how his team uses mocha Pro and NUKE on Kick Ass 2, Pride, Halo and more.

Boris Continuum Complete gives editors, motion graphic designers, and finishing artists a comprehensive VFX plug-in suite with an expansive 200+ filter collection which includes 3D titling; image restoration tools; lens flares, glows, and lights; keys and mattes; warp and perspective effects; and cinematic effects.
Their soon to be released version, BCC 10, will have integrated mocha tracking and masking technology, as well as new 3D titling and animation tools, import of Maxon Cinema 4D models, new image restoration filters, transitions and additional host support.
mocha Pro 5
The upcoming mocha Pro 5 release will have a new effects panel for integrated keying, grain, sharpening, and skin smoothing. You can also look forward to new Python scripting support and the ability to launch mocha Pro as a plug-in from host applications such as Avid Media Composer, Adobe After Effects, and more.
