The arrival of September can only mean one thing (apart from the end of summer, the start of school, jacket weather and conkers): IBC is back. Mark Coleman and Dom Minall are travelling out from Soho to Amsterdam, while Neil Kalsi and Fabio Ticca are attending from the Escape Technology office in Munich.
As well as seeing what’s new we’ll be catching up with our industry partners, including The Foundry who are hosting drinks on 10 September. Sign up for an invitation here. Our friends Sohonet are also running a ‘media collaboration’ workshop on the same day.
And our industry partners Adobe have just announced a slew of updates to Creative Cloud, which they’ll be showing off at IBC.
Among the most impressive, you can now use Dynamic Link to work on assets seamlessly across moving image applications, while Team Projects facilitates easy collaboration between editors and motion graphics designers. Adobe have announced important improvements for VR workflows too. Particularly, new auto-aware VR adjusts the viewing environment to the media, making it easier to work with.
VR is set to be a hot topic across the IBC show. We’re looking forward to sharing the new developments as they come up. If you’re attending this year then let us know, and we’ll see you there.
