Chaos Group has made major improvements to adaptive lighting and GPU rendering in V-Ray 3.5 for Maya.
Among the latest updates are improvements for look development, realistic 3D shadows in composite scenes, and the addition of resumable rendering, which enables users to stop and restart a render at any point.
For V-Ray 3.x users the latest update is completely free and can be downloaded from Chaos Group’s website. There’s also a bundle offer for users upgrading V-Ray 2 to 3.5 with Phoenix FD.
